About This Project

Create a visual design for Spacifica Travel website homepage that focussed on presenting choices to the user in the initial homepage container space. Spacifica Travel offers packages across the South Pacific to several destinations, and bringing those choices into one space was important for the company. They had created a system for their packages and we helped to visualise the most basic choices to present to the consumer for an initial search to take them to further package options in a speedy and targeted manner. We created a concept for the initial UI for the visitor with consideration to the parameters of the site and the overall UX.

DIFFICULTIES AND CHALLENGES

This was a fun conceptual project where we worked we worked within the required framework to present an achievable outcome for the rebuild of the company website which would be built and maintained by another company. The main challenge was to work within the framework that was coded and achievable.

IMPACT AND OUTCOMES

The outcome is that the designs we created more or less reflect what was built and is presented to the consumer today. The company has been able to present more comprehensive package options to the user within a single page space layout that they could before and years later the original design concept we presented has been adhered to closely suggesting it has worked and had positive results for the company.
